Guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer Luke Winslow-King has returned with a new single, “Slow Sunday June”, from his seventh full-length album If These Walls Could Talk.  “Slow Sunday June” is a love song for a day, dedicated to an instant, where light falls across the room, when the doves sing, when the bells toll, when waves reflect the moon. It’s about finding surprisingly simplistic satisfying moments of tranquility; pure moments we treasure but cannot plan or prearrange. Perhaps these are the true essence of life?

As a whole, Winslow-King’s upcoming new album (due out May 6, 2022) solidifies his ability to mold his surroundings and influences into a unified sound that is uniquely his own; rustic while elegant, bitter but sweet, soulful, inclusive, and comforting.

Luke Winslow-King’s work is an eclectic mix that combines delta blues, folk music, traditional jazz, and roots rock & roll. His songs blend contemporary ideas with styles from bygone eras, producing a sound that is both familiar and original. King has recorded four solo albums with acclaimed Chicago label Bloodshot Records and has appeared on recordings with George Porter Jr., Little Freddy King, Blue Gene Tyranny, and Dr. John.

Luke Winslow-King’s seventh full-length album ‘If These Walls Could Talk' is slated to be released on May 6, 2022 on Memphis label Ghost River Records and will continue to propel rugged roots to the vanguard of modern artistic sensibility.
