Sultry Songstress Paula West to Co-Headline Yoshi’s Jazz Club with Teen Sensation, Renee Olstead, July 16-19th
‘Outstanding Female Jazz Vocalist’ and ‘Outstanding Jazz Album’ award winner Paula West will share a 4-night bill with 19-year old teen sensation Reneé Olstead this July for six unprecedented shows at Yoshi’s SF. Recognized nationwide as “a savvy blues and jazz interpreter” who never “leave the heart untouched” (The New York Times), West’s illustrious career has spanned two decades, including gigs on A&E and the Oxygen Network, collaborations with Bill Charlap and Regina Carter, jazz club residencies in San Francisco and New York, and White House invitations. Her vast experience and practiced ease will form the perfect compliment to Olstead’s budding diva enthusiasm. The latter’s short, yet impressive career already includes five studio albums, numerous film appearances, and starring roles on the CBS and ABC Family networks. Tickets.
